|SPARK is the largest research study of autism ever. SPARK stands for 'Simons Foundation Powering Autism Research for Knowledge'. The mission is simple: to speed up research and advance our understanding of autism to help improve lives. By studying genetic, behavioral, and medical information from hundreds of thousands of people SPARK is advancing autism research. The study is online. It is simple and it's free. In order to advance research and discovery in autism that matters, we need everyone to participate. More than 30 of the nation's leading medical schools and autism research centers have joined SPARK to help recruit individuals and families affected by autism. SPARK has also partnered with national and local autism community organizations across the U.S. to help find research participants and spread the word about the study.|
Since launching in 2016, over a quarter of a million people, including 100,000 people with autism, have joined SPARK. We are in this for the long term. Together, we will advance autism research for years to come.
